Haven’t used as yet but looks just what I needed
Installation was straightforward hooked everything up according to diagram to my Gen 3 Standard disc. Programing router was very simple.
Living off-grid, or in a motorhome, power consumption can be critical. The starlink uses a lot of AC power. Having to convert our battery DC power into AC through an inverter, then back to DC through a power supply is not the most efficient way to power any device. It can be converted to dc power for a significant savings in draw as well as savings from not having the dc to ac conversion.
Convenient & Cost-effective
XTAR-Link EL3 Conversion combines a 10/30 volts to 48 volts booster, PoE injector, and 12V voltage regulator into one unit, providing a professional and reliable power solution for Gen 2 dish. This reducing the complexity of DIY , risks of operational failure, and also save cost of additional DIY components.
No Wire cutting, no modifying the dish or cable, and no voiding your warranty!
Dual Efficiency in Power Saving
It not only saves up to 30% of the power that run starlink products, but also reduces the energy consumption of routers. It includes a built-in 12V regulator directly connect to 3rd party router. It significantly reduces the power loss of router from DC-AC-DC conversion.

Versatile Power Compatibility
Full protection
Protected by waterproof, shockproof, and corrosion-resistant metal casing, it also features a power switch, built-in reliable fuses, and a power indicator light to ensure a safe and stable connection to the network in various environments.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1) Using the snow melt function draws an additional 120W and cannot be used via cigarette lighter plug as most vehicles and power station have a 10A limit.
2) For starlink work properly under each mode, We advise power XTAR-Link DC conversion EL3 or EL6 by minimum 12V 15A electrical system or better 24V 10A (should comes enough amperage output) through Ring terminal or hardwire connection.

Save 210Wh per day ≈7 hours run-time of starlink Gen2
"l have an EL3 for my Gen2 actuated dishy. Both are mounted in my RV with a dedicated 12V circuit.l can unplug the Anderson power connector and dishy, bring the EL3 into the house and reconnect it to a 12V mains adapter, plug the dishy in and voila-starlink at home.
We usually just leave the EL3 and its router in the rv and plug dishy into the original router as it's less to carry in and the router has better coverage in the house."
